Infection Control NZ offers affordable Infection Prevention and Control services for Aged care, GP practices, Hospice and Mental Health settings.

Amanda Hynes is an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse Specialist with 14 years experience working in Infection Control and over 20 years Nursing experience.

Amanda has worked in Infection Control in Private surgical, as part of the Infection Prevention and Control team at Counties Manakau DHB, in the Aged care sector (where she currently still works part time) and previously as a Senior advisor/consultant for Bug Control Australia/New Zealand. Amanda has also worked at the Immunisation advisory centre at the University of Auckland and is an authorised adult vaccinator. She has a Post graduate degree in Nursing Science (Infection Control) from the University of Adelaide.

Amanda is available for onsite education sessions and consultation in all areas of Infection Prevention and Control.
